And surely, We have explained [Our Promises, Warnings and (set forth many) examples] in this Quran that they (the disbelievers) may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion. 41 Say (O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists, pagans, etc.): "If there had been other aliha (gods) along with Him as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (seeking His Pleasures and to be near to Him). 42 Exaltations be to Him! High indeed be He exalted above what they say! 43 The seven skies, the earth, and all that lies within them, sing hallelujas to Him. There is nothing that does not chant His praises, but you do not understand their hymns of praise. He is verily clement and forgiving. 44 When thou recitest the Koran, We place between thee, and those who do not believe in the world to come, a curtain obstructing, 45 And We place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it, and in their ears a deafness; and when thou makest mention of thy Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn their backs in aversion. 46 We know what they want to hear when they listen to you. They whisper to each other and say, "You are only following a bewitched person". 47 Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot [find] a way. 48 And they say: What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then certainly be raised up, being a new creation? 49 Say, "Be you stones or iron 50 ۞ Or some other created thing which may seem to you most difficult (to create)!" They will then say: "Who will revert us back?" Say: "He who originated you in the first place." They will shake their heads at you and say: "When will that be?" Say: "In the near future, perhaps, 51 A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while. 52
