See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
