The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ The believers have indeed attained true success: 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 and restrain their carnal desires 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 But those who covet more than this will be transgressors; 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 to their promise, 9 Such are the inheritors 10 Heirs of Paradise, they shall abide in it forever. 11 We created man of an extraction of clay, 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 Then lo! after that ye surely die. 15 Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected. 16 We made several highways one over the other above you. We are not neglectful of creation. 17 And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away. 18 Then through water We caused gardens of date-palms and vines to grow for you wherein you have an abundance of delicious fruits and from them you derive your livelihood. 19 And a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
