Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
