And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 "And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me." 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 “And is this some great reward for which you express favour upon me – that you have enslaved the Descendants of Israel?” 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 He said: The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure. 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
