The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
