Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
