The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
