Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
