We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
