The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
