We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
