And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
