Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
