Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
