We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night.
