Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Then is it of their lying that they say: 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171 That they would be helped, 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
