And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. Every one of them is among the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64
