Forgiver (Ghaafer)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ha'. Mim. 1 This Book is a revelation from God, the Majestic and All-knowing 2 Forgiver of sin and Acceptor of repentance, severe in chastisement, Lord of Power. There is no god but He; unto Him is the journeying. 3 None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers. Let not, then, their strutting about through the land deceive thee! 4 The people of Noah before them also cried lies, and the parties after them; every nation purposed against their Messenger to seize him, and disputed with falsehood that they might rebut thereby the truth. Then I seized them; and how was My retribution! 5 The word of your Lord that the disbelievers will be the dwellers of hell fire has already been decreed. 6 Those who bear the power and those around Him celebrate the praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask protection for those who believe: Our Lord! Thou embracest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefore grant protection to those who turn (to Thee) and follow Thy way, and save them from the punishment of the hell: 7 Our Lord, admit them to the everlasting Gardens You have promised them and those of their fathers and spouses and progeny that were righteous. Surely You alone are Most Mighty, Most Wise; 8 And protect them from evils. And whosoever Thou shalt protect from evils on that Day, him Thou hast of a surety taken into mercy and that: it is an achievement mighty. 9
