Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
