All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 32 O tribe of jinn and of men, if you are able to pass through the confines of heaven and earth, pass through them! You shall not pass through except with an authority. 33 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 36 And when heaven is split asunder, and turns crimson like red leather -- 37 which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 38 On that Day there will be no need to ask either men or jinn about their sins. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The guilty shall be recognized by their marks so they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is the Hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. 44 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 45
