Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away. 26 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. 27 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 28 Everyone in the heavens and on the earth entreats Him. Every day He manifests Himself in a new state. 29 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 32 O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. 35 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 36 And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red. 37 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 38 Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 42 Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
