Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
