۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a hidden Book 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
