Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
