Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
