Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
