۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 The blind and the seeing are not equal, 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 nor shade and heat 21 And not equal are the living and the dead! Indeed Allah causes them to listen*, whomever He wills; and you cannot make those who are in the graves** listen. (* Listen to guidance **The disbelievers are referred to as dead, whose fates are sealed.) 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then I seized the disbelievers; so how did denial My rejection turn out? 26
