Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 preferring the present life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
