The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars darken, 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 And when souls are united, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 and brightening morning, 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 he truly beheld [the angel - beheld] him on the clear horizon; 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
