Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 watching over you 11 Who know what you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
