The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
