The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
