The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
