The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
