The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
