The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
