Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
