We have sent down to you the Book containing the truth, in whose light you should judge among the people as God has shown you, and do not be a contender for deceivers. 105 and seek forgiveness from Allah. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate. 106 And plead not on behalf of (people) who deceive themselves. Lo! Allah loveth not one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They feel ashamed before men but do not feel ashamed before God, despite His being present with them when they plot at night, uttering things of which He does not approve; and indeed God is fully aware of what they do. 108 You defend them in this life but who will defend them against God on the Day of Judgment and who will be their attorney? 109 One who commits a sin or does wrong to himself and then seeks forgiveness from God, will find God All-forgiving and All-merciful. 110 And whoever commits a sin, he only commits it against his own soul; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. 111 Whosoever earns a fault or a sin and casts it upon the innocent, indeed, he bears the slander and a clear sin. 112
