The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no wage for it; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land, 183 And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people." 184 They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; 185 for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He said: My Lord knows best what you do. 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
