And recite to them the news of Abraham. 69 Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" 70 They answered: "There are some idols that we worship and are devoted to them with constancy." 71 He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?" 72 "Or do you good or harm?" 73 They replied, "But we found our fathers doing the same." 74 He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping, 75 “You and your forefathers preceding you.” 76 “They are all my enemies, except the Lord Of The Creation.” 77 who created me, and Himself guides me, 78 And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink. 79 and, whenever I am sick, heals me, 80 "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); 81 "And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection)," 82 O Lord, give me wisdom and admit me among the righteous, 83 and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me, 84 And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss 85 Forgive me and my father: He was surely among those who went astray. 86 and do not put me to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 87 the Day when wealth and sons will be of no avail, 88 Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). 89 And the Garden will be brought nigh for those who ward off (evil). 90 And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring. 91 And it shall be said unto them where is that which ye were wont to worship? 92 Beside Allah? Can they succour you or succour themselves? 93 Then they shall be hurled therein, they and the seduced ones. 94 "And the whole hosts of Iblis together. 95 There they will quarrel with one another and the erring ones will say (to their deities): 96 'By Allah, we were certainly in clear error, 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 And none led us astray except the culprits. 99 And now we have none to intercede for us, 100 “Nor a caring friend.” 101 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " 102 In this there is evidence (of the truth), but many of them do not have any faith. 103 Verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 104

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
