Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom. 2 Indeed there are signs for believers in the heavens and the earth. 3 In creating you and spreading all the moving things (on earth) are signs for people firm of faith, 4 And in the succession of night and day, and in the means of subsistence which God sends down from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: [in all this] there are messages for people who use their reason. 5 These are the revelations of Allah which We rehearse unto thee with truth: in what discourse then, after Allah and His revelations, will they believe? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 He hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them. Forewarn him of a painful punishment. 8 And when he comes to know about any of the verses, he mocks at it; for them is a disgraceful punishment. 9 Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. 10 This is the (true) guidance; and for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord is the severest of painful punishments. 11
