The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
