Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
