But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
