The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the night when it covers the day, 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 and by Him Who created the male and the female: 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 As for one who gives [to others] and fears [God], 5 and believes in the truth of the ultimate good 6 observe piety, and believe in receiving rewards from God. 7 But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, 8 And rejects the best, 9 We shall facilitate for him the way to Hardship, 10 Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit). 11 Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide, 12 and to Us belong the Last and the First. 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 who belied and turned away, 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 Who gives away his wealth, purifying himself 18 not as payment for any favours that he received, 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 and he shall surely be satisfied. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
