There is no state you are in, whether reading from the Qur'an, or doing something else, but We are watching you as you are engaged in it. There is not the weight of an atom on the earth and in the heavens that is hidden from your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater than this but is recorded in the perspicuous Book. 61 The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved. 62 Those who believe and keep their duty (to Allah). 63 there is good news in this life and in the Hereafter: the Word of God shall never change. That is the supreme triumph. 64 And let not their speech grieve you; surely might is wholly Allah's; He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 65 Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they follow who call unto associate-gods beside Allah? They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing. 66 It is Allah alone Who has made the night that you may rest in it, and has made the day light-giving. Surely in that there are signs for those who give heed (to the call of the Messenger). 67 They say: "God has begotten a son." Immaculate is He and self-sufficient." Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. You have no proof for this (assertion): Why do you say things of God you do not know? 68 Say, "Those who invent falsehoods about God shall not prosper." 69 [A brief] enjoyment in this world - and thereafter unto Us they must return: and then We shall let them taste suffering severe as an outcome of their persistent denial of the truth. 70
