▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
