I swear by all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
