The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
